Watching morning Joe, AL Sharpton on whining about how racist all whites are, Mika dressed in black, no smiles anywhere, can't understand why 45% of Latinos voted R. To his credit Joe is telling panel that dems need to back off from being far left weirdos.

So I snoozed most of the dumb bitches on my fb recently but Reddit is hilarious. My local sub is full of supposedly educated smart people who feel entitled to tell the rest of the us how to live are full of absurd fears. One lady is scheduling a hysterectomy today, despite the fact abortion is legal here and in surrounding states. And someone says there won’t be any more elections, no midterms. No answer when I asked how will that happen.

I really can't fathom how anyone can have so little common sense and ability to think for themselves that they believe this nonsense. Like, Kamala can't give them abortion, POTUS doesn't have that power. How do they now conflate miscarriages with abortion? How does one say, "I'm voting for my daughter's future by voting for Kamala".....The women who gives more rights to men pretending to be women but can't give you the abortion you think your slutty daughter deserves? Seeing a lot of young gay men saying Trump's Project 2025 will ban porn, anime, and gay sex so they'll all be killed or put into reeducation camps......What? Still believing Trump has anything to do with that....or that 2025 said they'd make gay sex illegal?

It's all....so sad. These people need a lobotomy.

Guarantees right to hunt/fish - Pass.

Late term abortion - Fail.

Legalized weed - Fail. The weed arguments from I've seen were pretty absurd. Both of the ones here, all about the smell. A concern for some, even though smoking in any public area was still illegal. People were acting like they can sit on a park bench and smoke. Or even smoke in areas where cigarettes aren't even allowed. I saw A LOT of people voting no from smokers who were just pissed that it didn't include growing from home. Like most people were going to do that anyway. Most people just want to buy, smoke, and not worry about. Talk about throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Say no to progress because you're being a child. Home growth could be legislation later. Plenty of old timers thinking it was going to lead to rampant crime and increased drug use with harder drugs....fucking retards.

I voted yes on weed, but it did have serious problems. It was written for Trulieve or whatever company it was to have a monopoly.

But most people don't have the time, patience, or desire to home grow. The hardcore stoners, sure. But the vast majority of people who would grow are already growing. It really just saves money for people who have a med card and stops wasting our taxes on arresting people were tiny bits. Legislation could still add to it because the bill didn't specifically say home growing can't/won't happen. It was written for Big Weed, but it wasn't written to exclude future possibilities. I'm ok with Big Weed in this case because it's the only source to actually know what you're smoking. It's safe, regulated, not laced with anything, you know how strong it is, you know what side effects each strain has, and so on. It's in no way comparable to Big Pharma.

It was poorly written, but it was a step in the right direction. If they're waiting for for the perfect bill, they'll never make any progress at all. The reality though is still that it's old people who mostly voted no. I was just listening to Timcast where a Conservative guest from the Daily Wire (and others on the show) were saying how dangerous and terrible weed is as they sit there drinking bourbon. The self righteous ignorance and hypocrisy over that shit is what pisses me off.

My boss worked on the hill a long time and on campaigns and is like why are there so many cases where people voted for
Trump but not the senate candidate?
