Gators Napier-era Shlinks

In all kinds of weather is doing a story on the downfall of Mullen, first of two posted, none of it is surprising, verification of what we all thought was going on

Nothing surprising in there. It just sucks that we've gone through three coaches since Urban Meyer who looked promising and were supposed to fix the culture problems but instead created their own. For a while, Mullen really looked like he was going to right the ship.

I'm just hoping we hit rock bottom already.

Yeah, i think BN is going to get the culture right, he seems humble enough to not let his ego get in the way so far. He has to prove he can coach at the SEC level though.

We were all trying to be optimistic with Mullen, but we also knew damn well that we won because we got lucky having a Zook loaded talented team with experience, 2 of the best college players to step foot on the field (Harvin and Tebow), and an overall amazing defense. We won in spite of Mullen's play calling, not because of it. We bitched constantly about his dink and dunk bullshit that only worked because guys like Harvin were on another level. There was always doubt with Mullen. He got lucky with Dak at MSU and a good defense with a kinda down SEC, excluding Bama.

Mullen was the definition of a paper tiger. Not sure how many people truly believed he was the answer.

Had a discussion with an dumb FSU fan recently and he kept saying how we all wanted Mullen and how excited we were for the hire. Nobody really wanted Mullen, we all wanted Kelly, then Frost. The Mullen hire was met with a bit of a groan then as you mentioned, we tried to be optimistic.

Yeah, none of us wanted Mullen as our first choice. I think we're all glad we didn't get Kelly though :icon-lol:

Hey Flight, welcome back! What the hell is going on and how are you?
Sup Breeze! Missed ya man! I'm in hog heaven over here....the US Air Force begged me to come back so I'm in the US Air Force Reserve at Langley AFB, VA with the F-22 Raptor. In the civilian world.....flying corporate Gulfstreams.

Looks like our former QB commit "NIL Poster Child" won't be going to the post season this year unless he transfers to a different school:

Fuck Deion Sanders.

TCU was overrated. - they skated into the championship game last year with a bunch of close wins over unranked teams, then got exposed by Georgia.

Don't get me wrong, Colorado would probably beat us, but the media is treating them and F$U like they're going to play for the championship. Ain't gonna happen. Or my name ain't Nathan Arizona.

Zook never had a losing season so there's that. He also left the team stacked for Urban.
