📺Television Movie/tv thread

I thought it was good. Better than 2. A little more dramatic than you would expect from a comic book move though.

The final battle in the hallway was great.
The final battle was great. Pretty good ending. The first half, after the initial attack....Kinda slow. Basically it was a Rocket origin story that was only marginally interesting.

Finally watched all of hell on wheels what a slog
I enjoyed a lot of it, but it got weaker with every season, every episode, from what I can recall. The first season was great.

Finished Boardwalk Empire. I didn't care for the flashbacks, they clearly needed to stretch out season 5. The best part really is who killed him, which I completely forgot about. But it jumped around too much with no explanation. Why is Chalky suddenly on the farm for 7 years? It was never explained how he got captured, tried for what. Just end of one season, the next he's on the chain gang. Bad writing.

First half of GoTG3 was pretty bad, second half was much better.

Saw John Wick 4 on the plane to Bozeman. Not nearly as good as the first one, about on par with the other sequels. I think with movies like this it's better to leave the shadowy world of organized crime in the shadows and let the audience imagine what the structure is like rather than flesh out the world in every detail. Nice to see Clancy Brown make an appearance as "the Harbinger" though.

Finally saw Ant Man 3 on the way back from Bozeman. It was okay, not nearly as bad as people said, pretty middling for the Marvel stuff.

Yeah, that's more accurate. I was forcing myself to watch the first half of Guardians. It wasn't good. I was paying attention the later half.

I haven't seen JW4 streaming yet. Never cared for Ant Man. He's funny as comedic relief in the Avengers movies, but the Ant Man movies....meh.

Finally got around to watching American Made. How the fuck have I not heard about this Seals dude before? I've watched every movie/show about cartels known to man.

Watched some 10-15 year old movie starring Stone Cold .

Laughably bad but entertaining. Figured the fight scenes would be better than they were and Danny Trejo is always fun

Seemed like a movie Seagal would have made in 1991 except most of the violence was off screen and not a single tit in sight.
