Normally I’d like a disaster movie like don’t look up but the climate change hysteria turns me off

Yeah, I get that, they don’t preach that in this movie, but it is making fun of trumpers and the division in people.

With eg, normally love these types, well acted, had some funny quirky stuff, Jonah hill was funny... but once it was obvious it was global warming propaganda it lost me. I chuckled at some of the maga type references, but it is even funnier the way Hollywood portrays all the folks to the right of them.

Book of Boba Fett.

So far so good.

A little disappointed with it, but realize they had to do some back story. Too bad that back story was kinda boring.

But I never got the cult obsession with Boba. I’m sure it’ll be good once it gets going.

I was never a Boba fanatic, but it was cool to see him return. And his return was actually done well.

This episode had 3 things going against it. It was short, they used a lot of the time in flashbacks, and there wasn't a whole lot of setup in the present time scenes.

If the flashbacks continue they will have a hard time telling a complete present day story in 7 episodes.

Yeah, I don’t think the flashbacks last more than another episode or two. We got the gist of it and since it’s obvious Boba’s reign isn’t going unchallenged, the focus should be on current events. There’s supposed to be some Jedi appearance, possible grogu, so I don’t think they can spend too much time on the past.

Finally watched Dune. Pretty good, but I don't think there is a lot there for people who aren't already fans of the book. And breaking it up into two movies seems wrong but I understand why they did it

That was my first impression. It might be boring for non-book readers, but I thought it was really good even though it was a bit slow.

The Boy Behind the Door.

What a dumb movie with dumb characters. The kidnapped kid is an absolute dipshit.

I've never read any of his stories back when I used to read comics. I've heard people say he is Marvel's version of Batman. Only he is really violent and suffers from split personality.

Dopesick is interesting, Mayor of Kingstown was really really good, 1883 is kinda meh, like Cobra Kai though was quite cheesy

I really liked that show. I haven't read the book but now it's on the list.
