Wheel of Time: not bad. Haven’t read the books (yet), so I had no preconceived notions about the story. 4 episodes in and it keeps building steam. I was lost in the first episode, though, and the monsters seemed more than a little hokey, but it got better.
Yeah it's pretty good so far. The series has 15 fucking books. :deadnana:

I remember some of you (eggs juggs maybe?) like day after tomorrow. Currently watching Armageddon, love it. Also love the core, deep impact, etc, etc... basically anything where the world is about to blow up or die a sudden death. Pretty sure I have seen them all... any suggestions?

Armageddon is so bad but I love that fucking movie. Michael Bay is really great at ginning up emotion and nostalgia. The sweeping camera shots. The kid with the white earphone that hasn't been sold since 1982. The flags. The ex wife running to hug the shithead ex husband....

Now I gotta watch it again.

I watched Roadhouse 2 nights ago. That shit still hold up.

It’s both of us

I’ll have to revisit the more movies thing when I’m not stoned and falling asleep

And Wheel of Time is really good. I’ve never read the books either. It sucks not being able to binge watch it.

True Story with Kevin Hart is pretty good. Isn't a comedy, but he pretty much plays himself.

Really liking Preacher, good dark comedy, Seth Rogan is one of the Exec Producers. Hannah was meh, Narcos Mex latest edition is pfg.

Stopped watching trailers for that. They always show too much.

I'm going to watch the original in IMAX tonight though.

The Matrix movies are a guilty pleasure of mine. The first was revolutionary but looks a little dated now, and I know the second and third were kind of shitty, but still I can't look away if they're on TV. I'll definitely be seeing this one.

I couldn't make it past 30 minutes of The Power of the Dog. Could be a good movie, but damn it's boring in the beginning.

The ending of reloaded opened it up to a shit ton of new places for the story to go. I would have bet the farm that the "real world" was another layer of the Matrix, which is why Neo could kill the squids at the end.

Then Revolutions kinda just dropped that.
