So in the LOTR show...

I've been listening to these videos on a YT channel, "Nerd of the Rings" who has videos on basically every character's life, deeds, and all the major players, etc.

The famous smith that Elrond is working with in the show....

The douchebag who falls into Sauron's trap, allowing Sauron in his human form disguise, to influence him and create the rings of power. Good job, douchebag. I have to assume the tower that he and Elrond are building now are where he forges the rings.

Yes, Celebrimbor (for some reason, pronounced with a "K") is the sorry dupe who helped Sauron forge the Rings. For what it's worth, he also helped craft that magic doorway into Moria from The Fellowship of the Ring ("Speak Friend and Enter").

Yeah I saw that. I gotta say, this dude knows his shit. I can get a deep dive on wars, characters, etc. from the very beginning in 10 minutes or so each

Why does phalazor insist that elves will be taking orders from men when it’s done. There’s no fictional realm in LOTR where powerful elves can be conquered by them. It’s either madness or bad writing.

I also still don’t like that they’ve made a powerful, magical Galadriel into just a warrior.

Agree on both counts. Phalazor may not like the Elves but even Numenoreans aren’t a match for them. And Galadriel is like a whole different character.

A new theory on Sauron’s identity (thread):

And oh yeah, the Meteor Man is totally a wizard, probably Gandalf but there’s an outside chance he could be Saruman.

Thor Love and Thunder. I don’t get all the hate. Entertaining enough. The goats and kids fighting were the highlights
Same here. I really liked it. People are too fucking pretentious when it comes to this stuff.

The uber nerds have to ruin everything. Has Marvel really saturated the market with humorous action films? Yes.

But they're funny and mindlessly entertaining. There have been far worse trends in movies to complain about.

I don't mind the humor, sometimes it is a bit much though. I wish there would have been more Gorr in it.

I enjoy the humor in it. But agree, I'd like to have seen more Gorr. His scene with the kids in the cage was great.

Drunk, Stoned, Brilliant, Dead.

Pretty interesting. Few years old now, but finally got around to watching it. Never read National Lampoon as a kid, I was just a bit too young. They sold them at my local comic book store though, so I remember a bunch of those covers.

Andor

Really really good so far. Wasn't expecting much but so far it is kicking ass.

Light years better than Boba Fett.

Really good actors all over the place and the visuals rival anything in any Star Wars feature film.

Tried watching season 3 of Westworld awhile back, couldn’t, but now enjoying it, though it’s hard to keep up with who’s human & who’s not. Mildly lusting over Maeve

I don’t understand this at all

Like I can understand Bridgerton because people like to dress up but the office? The whole point of the show was it was ordinary

That's just retarded. Like making a Seinfeld theme park where you just sit around an apartment building and a cafe.

Also, the Office sucked ass. Fuck Steve Carell's unfunny shit
