Lost started as a great show, but there was so much that was just filler.

Back when it ended, there was a rumor going around that the writers intended them to be dead all along but the fans picked up on that idea almost immediately in the first season so they abandoned it. And then they didn't know what to do with it, so they just kept on writing more scenes without really plotting out how it all fit together.

I think the rumors were true. Before the writer's strike that caused them to shorten the fourth season, there were 23-25 1-hour episodes per season. That's a whole lot of bullshit to come up with for a show set on a remote island. They really didn't know how to end it, so they just kept fucking with it until it shat out the garbage 6th season.

agreed.

the one positive about LOST is that shows before it were pretty "small" and uncinematic. It helped usher in the "big" lavish shows filmed in remote locations like GOT. Its hard to see GOT without the success of LOST.

I agree about the writing, but I was ok with the filler until the last season or two. A lot of the rescued "oceanic 6" shit was boring and obviously the ending was terrible. But everything else on the island, I didn't mind, even if it didn't all make sense.

Oh and his ending bit is on abortion. His fake analogy is funny. And this was filmed quite a while ago apparently since he says it’s been a year and a half since the start of COVID.

Uncharted. Fun movie. Based on a video game. Funny. The new Spider-Man kid is funny as usual. Marky Mark solid also.

The Man from Toronto. Part way through and it’s pretty damn funny. Woody Harrelson is awesome.

Have not seen uncharted but we really enjoyed Man from Toronto.

Uncharted is kind of a new Goonies for adults

Never had an interest it. Now I gotta watch it.

It's a fun action comedy. Well done mix of humor and some stunts a little unrealistic, but exactly what you'd do in the video game. But the general plot is pretty good. Who doesn't love centuries old ships and lost treasure?

what do we think of the end of Better Call Saul? I watched it to make sure 52 didn't screw me over.
I think it ended the way it should have.

Fucking over the dude with cancer sealed his fate.
