I've been a fan but they went way too long between seasons. I like monster shit so it is a fun show for me. It would be much better if it was about adults instead imo.
 
I have to announce that I know hate Gilmore Girls.

Many of y'all didn't like the constant witty retorts or banter, sure it's not realistic, but it at least made me laugh. We're on the last season now and for the last 2 seasons, every single character has made worse and worse decisions, many making zero sense. And at least 2/3rds of the fights and conflict in the show are 100% the fault of someone not just explaining what happened and having zero communication skills. To be very generic, every fight is akin to:

Cops: You killed that man, you're under arrest and will die in prison.
You: But....He was there. It just happened.

Instead of:

Cops: You killed that man, what happened here.
You: He broke into my house at night and was trying to rape my daughter.

And they made Lorelai an absolutely insufferable, narcissistic pain in the ass. I so want her to die alone and hope her marriage to her baby daddy fails.

She just makes one bad decision after another, but basically everything is her mom's fault. She raised that kid to believe everything is hers, do whatever she wants and follow her heart and she can do anything. So she does what she wants and pisses people off all the time, never really taking responsibility for her actions. Then Lorelai gets all mad because she never taught the kid to be an adult.

The episode we saw last night, Rory was freaking out about not knowing what to do after graduation with an English degree. Ok the entire series she's wanted to be a travelling journo. Her mom never pointed out that takes years of seniority and a very tiny percent of journos get to do that. She just encouraged unrealistic fantasies. In the same Rory freakout scene, her 2 friends say they feel the same. What are they going to do with their Art and Philosophy degrees?

Interesting that 20 something years ago, a popular tv show pointed out that useless degrees do not get you a career and then we still got 20 years of kids getting useless degrees :lol:
 
I mean it was well known when I went to school. without the internet I settled on science/engineering as a way not to be poor

Ads are infuriating after you're use to not having them. Watching a lighter series, I can tolerate it.......Ads during something like GOT, I'd lose my shit :lol:

I got the same deal on Paramount, new season of Landman is playing now.

So the Netflix buying Warner Bros...did we discuss that? I'm sure some major fuckery with good shit will be happening in the future. Does HBO Max remain separate, do they bundle?
 
I was repeating his what.....but....also kinda, what's so funny? Was it his reaction, the wifi in his head? I think you have to go past 15 seconds to really get the wifi in his head.

I need to know more. Did he get Elon's brain chip for them to hack?
 
it just seems like such a dumb spy thriller, the DEI cast and inane concept and dialog.

It plays during Big 10 basketball games so I've seen it 500 times
