Well I take it back then. It shouldn't be made and he shouldn't allow it. I'm assuming the studio owns it though, not him. He's neither writing it nor directing it.

Watched 1 a year ago, it was definitely better overall. Watched 2 a few days ago and honestly without Bernthal, it woulda been meh.The Accountant - Pretty good. Good setup, good action, good characters.
The Accountant 2 - Not quite as good but still watchable. Story is pretty jumbled but the interactions between Affleck and Bernthal were entertaining.
His autistic accent in the 2nd one was infuriating. The Accountant - Pretty good. Good setup, good action, good characters.

Didn't they also play it up a lot more? I recall from 1 that his autism was in his personality. He didn't have an accent, he just had no social skills at all and a lot of quirks. But 2 tried to go overkill with it, like he got worse in 8 years. His autistic accent in the 2nd one was infuriating.
Yeah. I was getting Rain Man vibes that he didn't give off in the first 1.His autistic accent in the 2nd one was infuriating.
Yeah they made him a total spaz rather than touched by the tism.Didn't they also play it up a lot more? I recall from 1 that his autism was in his personality. I'm the same way, I can even watch a movie that some may say is slanted left and enjoy it if it's good otherwise. There is a line there though, but I think my line is harder to get to than some. I just really don't give a shit what actors/entertainers say/think, they are grown up drama kids.I can usually tune it out at least. If I stopped watching movies or listening to music of people who says stupid political shit, I'd basically just have redneck rap to listen to and Eastwood, Mel Gibson, and John Wayne movies to watch.
Although that's a fucking stellar movie collection right there.
