The Accountant - Pretty good. Good setup, good action, good characters.

The Accountant 2 - Not quite as good but still watchable. Story is pretty jumbled but the interactions between Affleck and Bernthal were entertaining.

Watched 1 a year ago, it was definitely better overall. Watched 2 a few days ago and honestly without Bernthal, it woulda been meh.

His autistic accent in the 2nd one was infuriating.

Didn't they also play it up a lot more? I recall from 1 that his autism was in his personality. He didn't have an accent, he just had no social skills at all and a lot of quirks. But 2 tried to go overkill with it, like he got worse in 8 years.

Yeah they made him a total spaz rather than touched by the tism.

I have to admit, I saw the trailer for Naked Gun in the theater and it was pretty solid. Neeson does a good job from the clips I saw (didn't watch the one above to see if it's the same).

Every trailer I've seen for Fantastic Four looks like dog shit, though a lot of that is becuase Pascal just doesn't belong in that role.

I can usually tune it out at least. If I stopped watching movies or listening to music of people who says stupid political shit, I'd basically just have redneck rap to listen to and Eastwood, Mel Gibson, and John Wayne movies to watch.

Although that's a fucking stellar movie collection right there.

I'm the same way, I can even watch a movie that some may say is slanted left and enjoy it if it's good otherwise. There is a line there though, but I think my line is harder to get to than some. I just really don't give a shit what actors/entertainers say/think, they are grown up drama kids.

Yeah, like The Boyz. That couldn't be more blatantly "Conservatives are lying nazis". Sure, each season got worse, but that wasn't necessarily because of it's overt politicalness.

As batshit crazy as he's gotten, I enjoyed DeNiro's Netflix mini series about the cyber attack.

I'll have to look up dept Q, I'm running out of things to watch. My daughter is watching Sherlock and Daughter right now, less than a week after I watched it and told her about it. It's good enough that I don't mind watching it a second time (only 8 episodes though)
