And the rural shows are the ones still talked about today. I can't think of one in the city, aside from I Love Lucy, that's still mentioned the way Andry Griffith or Bev Hillbillies is.

I like Stranger Things but these kids are like 30 now.
So I started watching poker face, a quirky little show, first few episodes were fine. Then a side plot was a caricature of a right wing radio guy, and a dog who liked it, and then the lead character is like “oh I have a maga Nazi fascist dog” and it’s ruined it for me. I just looked and it was made in 2023. Does entertainment not care when they demonize half the population? We don’t have to take it, I’ll watch older shows.

I watched a few episodes of the first season then bailed. It started off good, thought it was gonna be a serial about her on the run from the mob. When I figured out it was a Murder, She Wrote knock-off, and the mob story at the beginning was just to get her on the road, I bailed.

Sherlock and Daughter. Quite entertaining little show, only 8 episodes.
98 years old. Spaceballs 2 for a 2027 release? What are the chances he makes all the way through production? Plus, John Candy, Joan Rivers and Dick van Patten are all dead and the rest of the cast is old.
Still, if Brooks is writing it, then it may be pretty good.

That's....he should have a clause that if he dies before he can see it through, it doesn't get released. Don't think I want someone else fucking up his final film.
