they have to sign off on pretty much any action by an agency
With all those disease experts in the White House? I know what you mean, but you see my point toothey have to sign off on pretty much any action by an agency
well of course, our agencies are far too bloated and powerful. unfortunately, congress has largely ceded its authority to agencies. Mostly dems but Bush 2 was also baaaad. Don't get me started on the non delegation doctrine - though good news is there are legal challenges and hopefully scotus does some good stuff!Fair. But when the White House has no experts and definitely none that aren't bias, The supposed experts have to get buy off on people even more ignorant than they are. That's kind of broken. The Founders didn't imagine we'd have a thousand different organizations telling everyone how to live their lives on a daily basis that the government would have to oversee, made clear that the Feds were only supposed to have 2 real purposes.
We know what the Constitution was written for and could anticipate certain things. Something like the CDC is not one of them.
At this point we're fucked either way.in any event I'd rather have someone that I can unelect call the shots rather than career tax siphons.
I realized I didn't finish the last hour of that podcast. Right now I'm listening to Dr. Phil call it stupid for tearing down statues and applying modern day standards re: slavery to our Founders. That's like the police changing the 60mph speed limit to 30mph and then giving you a ticket for going 60 in a 30 last year.Dr. Phil was on Rogan recently and it's a great podcast. He really hammers leftists on a couple issues, primarily transing kids and COVID
