⚡ACHTUNG!⚡ Catch all/random thread

I'd take that over my daughter using 4 cups in a day. It's fucking water, use the same god damn cup.
My wife does this and won’t wash them till it’s gets out of hand. My son started to pick up that habit and I put a stop to it pretty damn quick. I use the same yeti, all day every day.

Yeah, I finally snapped and told the kid now she has to wash all her own dishes or I'm going to throw away every cup but 1 in the house.

I have a yeti coffee tumbler and I think my water bottle is a hydro flask. Those are the only 2 I use 99% of the time.

When my kids were little, like 7 and under, they started doing the same shit. I went and bought them each their own sets of 1 bowl, 1 plate, and 1 cup. That was all they were allowed to use. It worked for a while.

Once they got to be teenagers, nothing worked.

Yeah, I know that shit is only temporary until they just use your cups or whatever. It's why I threatened to get rid of everything but 1 cup and I'll use my water bottles/tumbler.

What a total, fraidy cat, beta the author of this article is....

No shock. I routinely see posts on FB that talk shit about trucks being too large. Like a full size crew cab truck that can actually haul a boat or loaded down trailer and then a tiny standard pickup from the 80s with a caption of something like, "One is a functional, manly, useful vehicle. The other is over compensating for" blah blah blah. Usually it's environmentalist.

Now I do agree that a ton of city folk have jacked up 80k trucks and they've never even seen a dirt road. If I see one that doesn't even have a hitch...I instantly hate the person.

It's really remarkable how much the media has turned on Musk after he bought Twitter and came out in favor of such outdated values as "free speech." This dude's fixation on genitals, gun control and running over poor people with SUVs is pretty weak, though.

Everything Musk does isn't going to work out. But I have always thought we needed some big idea folks with money to push us into a better future (like an affordable and practical electric car, or sending men to Mars). Musk has shown he's willing to put his money where his mouth is, and we could use a few more people like him.

That said, I don't really see the appeal of the cybertruck but maybe it will spawn some other innovations in the industry.

This is what cracks me up. Musk thinks EV's are the future, but knows it's insanely impractical to expect everyone to get them right now. He knows it will take a long time, it's just a goal we need to work towards, not make radical, unrealistic expectations like the lefties want to do. So the funny part....he makes a bullet proof truck and when asked why he made it, his answer was, "Because I can".

He's not just an innovator, he's eccentric and still has a "fuck it, why not?" side (like a flame thrower). That's the shit that really makes me like him. I think the cybertruck is ugly as hell and doesn't really qualify as a truck. It may tow a huge load, but part of having a truck is a functional bed....and he doesn't care. That's just funny to me. He's basically our real life, modern day Willy Wonka.

He's the only absurdly rich guy I can think of in our history that did whacky shit or put his money where his mouth is, like you said. The rest of them are solely in it to line their pockets or push some absurd agenda, like making us eat lab produced meat and crickets.

I hate the people in big trucks that come to a complete stop and crawl over a speed bump. Have these dumbasses not seen the commercial where the truck climbs a mountain at full speed?
It's a fucking speed bump, just go over it.
Damn.

Like lifted trucks? Some lifts just extend your shocks out from factory. They’ll bump like hell if you hit a speed bump too fast,

I think he just means any full size/crew cab truck, but :beatsme:

Worse than speed bumps, I see people damn near stop in intersections to crawl through a simple fucking valley gutter. A car can hit that thing at 40mph and you'll barely feel it and they act like it's bigger than a speed bump. Deal with that shit every time I go to publix. Dumb cunts can barely go when the light is green, then slams on the breaks for a tiny dip

I finally caught one of the re-stock drops last night from a small business knife company last night. They're out of stock constantly, get a new run of product, release it at night and they're all sold out within minutes. I couldn't get the exact model of knife I wanted because it sold out faster than I could get to the next page. But I did get another one I'll be happy with. My first fixed blade in magnacut :nanaboner:
For the non-knifey people, magnacut is the most well rounded, best of the best knife steels available, a fairly new creation. For $325 for a 4 and some odd inch blade length, it better be.
