Random event in Walmart parking lot. Saw a young girl, 12ish in the parking lot by herself. Then I see a large woman...heavy, at least 6'1" looking around. She finds this old man and she confronts him. I was putting my cart in the coral thing and they were just a few feet away. The old man approached her daughter and was asking weird ass questions. She bitched at him for talking to a young girl alone, etc. He kept defending himself and he said it was ok, he knew how old she was.

WTF. It kept on and I lingered about for a minute. He was pretty belligerent about it. Eventually I asked her if she needed help. Guy looked like he was already backing down anyway, this woman didn't need my help, she'd have probably crushed the dude...but still. He walked away and got to talking to the woman. Longer story short, she mentioned (bordering on complaining) that her husband didn't let her carry a gun. He didn't like guns and won't allow one in the house.

how's that for bass ackwards. It's not like these were liberal looking people, she looked like the type who would have guns. She needs to talk some sense into that bitch ass husband of hers.
 
My kid hasn't figured out the new stove yet. Cancel will leave the timer on (or going off, in this case) and turn off the oven. I told her to leave it on, her cookies bake at the same temp as the turkey breast. I put it, put on timer, and walk away. Timer goes off....over completely cold. :facepalm:

Yeah, there's definitely some issues with it. When I clicked on the "Gainesville, Florida" under the cheapest it took me to Rome, GA. It says that $5.50 footlong price was from the Subway in the Reitz Union.
 
Having to check my kid out of school. Standing up front I hear the woman on the phone with the school board requesting more translators. They’ve had almost a dozen bus drivers on one route quit this year because they can’t handle the several misbehaved Mexicans who speak (or pretend not to speak) any English.

According to my kid, a few of them do speak some English and pretend not to so they can get out of work and tests. Not enough translators

The amount of hispanics around here that don't speak english is insane. I can't even count on both hands the number of women who messaged me on a dating app that were using translators and didn't know a lick of english. Some of them suggested I learn spanish so we could communicate.....naturally I'm like, "wait, did I miss the point where I came to your fucking country and not you come to mine?" Sadly these chicks were fucking hot and there will be some dumb simp who will do it :lol: (and probably take care of her kids)
 
Just done gone dick mode on Youtube comments.....A random cooking channel popped up in my recommendations. It actually looked good, so I clicked. Checked out her main page, it does have over 1M followers, so it must be decent. See what they have.....

Fuck do I hate sensationalist or bullshit titles by cooks. If I see a recipe that says, "The BEST ****** recipe ever", I guarantee it's probably not good. Ok, she didn't do that particular one, but I did comment about her dumb titles.

"My husband asks me to make this EVERY day" - No, no he doesn't. No one asks for the same thing every single day.

"My family's FAVORITE pasta recipe" - I guess her family all votes on a new favorite every month, because they have a lot.

"I make this EVERY weekend" - Another title that gets used a lot. So wait, you make like 9 different meals every weekend? That seems unlikely.

The one prop I did give her is...she never shows her face. We never hear her talk. Which means I don't have to listen to the horrendous smacking and "MMMMM"ing as they taste their own food. Like they're going to screw up and then admit it when they taste it? Not to mention, smackers should be exiled on an island with each other.
