These emails are getting a ltitle too frequent from my kid's school:

This past Friday, one of our students made a statement during lunch about harming people on campus. Although, the student later stated that he said this out of frustration, we still followed our school and district protocol and completed a Threat Assessment. This process involves school and law enforcement officials to ensure the current and future safety of our campus. Since this incident, there have been many rumors spreading that can be traced back to the original comment made on Friday. I am sending this message to ensure all families that we take this and every situation regarding school safety very seriously. We are committed to the success and safety of every student.

My kid informed me more on this. There were 2 kids and it started on Friday. One moron was even asking a teacher about the locked doors and a few other questions while writing down the answers (bad prank, trying to get caught, or that stupid?). A lot of texts and such swirling around the kids that before this lock down, she said over half the school had been checked out by their parents already......the campus was damn near empty by the time they locked down.
