Taking my 13yo to New Mexico this September to fish the San Juan, heā€™s doing yard work for his grandmother to make up 1/2 of the cost of his portion of the trip. Fk giving kids everything, they have to have some skin in the game. Thought my dad was a dick for doing that, didnā€™t realize how much of a gift it was.

Damn Rip, sorry man, depression and alcoholism usually go hand in hand, unfortunately.

The United States Postal Service should be closed down and replaced with something better. None of the current employees would be eligible for employment there.

Ordered some suppressor adapters, added 2 day shipping. Should have been here last Thursday but it got changed to Friday, then Monday. Now it's going back and forth between 2 facilities. It is now at the Jackson, MS distribution center... for the 3rd time. :mad::mad::mad:
 
Still don't have the original order (Thanks USPS!) and place a 2nd order for just the 9mm adapter. Requested in the notes section, like the customer service lady told me to, that they ship FedEx.

They shipped it USPS. Fuck USPS and fuck joeboboutfitters.com. :mad: :mad:

Yeah... I pay for the upgraded shipping when that is the default option.

According to the local USPS guy, the distribution center in Jackson, MS, has been having issues and hasn't been able to correct them. I have that order and my wife has two Amazon orders sitting there. Just about ready to drive down there and pick the shit up.

Yeah, Iā€™ve had to do the Frogger routine many times trying to get to my bag I had to put behind me. I will never try to stop or slow people from getting off as I do so though.

Also, was flying to Detroit yesterday, a two women got heated when getting off the plane. Younger woman jumped up and skipped a bunch of rows. Older lady said, loud enough for her to hear, that it was rude for people to skip ahead. Young woman turns around and confronts her, chirps back and forth, ends up asking the old lady what sheā€™s going to do about it.
I am traveling with my 9 year old who didnā€™t hear what was going on but was anxious to get off the plane and asked why we werenā€™t getting off yet. I said very loudly that we have to wait for each row in front of us because thatā€™s how you get off a plane. As everybody doing it the right way she says ā€œguess everybodyā€™s got to prove a point nowā€ :lol:
 
Old friend of mine died a few days ago. Just learned thanks to Facebook. Going to a memorial for him tomorrow after work.

He taught me everything I know.

A year isn't too bad then. I know people who get upset over someone they haven't seen in 10-15 years and I'm like, "if they're so important, you'd have spoken to them at least on FB or something in under a decade" :lol:
