My Grandpa is determined to keep battling the cancer. He has been fitted for a radiation helmet, but has a lot of inflammation in the area that needs to be reduced before treatment can start.

My cousin's tumor was larger than expected. The doc described it as about as big as a grapefruit. She will have surgery next week to remove it, her spleen, and most of her pancreas. Fucking hell. After it is removed it will be sent off for biopsy.

Indeed. It's a molded plastic mask that holds your head in place while they administer radiation. I've heard it's awful (my Step Dad had tonsil cancer a long time ago).
