Yes, health wise it can and often is a bad thing for women. But seriously, what are the alternatives? How do you appease someone who's adamant that birth control should be illegal on the grounds of mental and physical well being? Ban birth control and you know the abortion rates will sky rocket. Ban abortions and federal benefits will sky rocket. There will ALWAYS be something to bitch about regarding this topic for religious Cons because they refuse to accept that people are not going to stop having sex and they're not waiting until they're married. They won't always use protection, which isn't 100% effective. And you damn sure know everyone isn't going to just start keeping the baby they don't want, legality be damned. People like her and Knowles, while I often agree with them, are living in a delusional, self righteous world where their Bible Thumping is as regular as their heart beat.
