I'm not sure this is "woke." It doesn't move the needle for me on the outrage-o-meter. It's not even claiming that women were historically the prime brewers or consumers of beer - only that they played a role, which is undoubtedly true.

I mean yes women did things so what? It’s pandering, I find it rather insulting. I don’t need a pat on the head from some corporation who is perpetuated one image of women and now another.

So you said it's not making certain claims like the primer brewers of beer, they just give women credit for creating beer apparently. That's exactly what "without women, there would be no beer" means.

Obviously fermentation was discovered by accident by...no one knows. They start with Mesopotamia, which was poorly done on their part. The Sumerian women beat them to it by at least 4,000 years. And that still doesn't justify their claims. As a history junkie, I hate that they rewrite history and make definitive claims every time a new tablet or some shit is found. Ancient history will never be fact, just a best guess.

I didn't watch it until the end. You're right.

Weird that most of the commercial is dedicated not to women actually brewing beer but to women making fertilizer.

I would also argue, without men ordering women to brew the fucking beer, there would be no beer. Men were out hunting and fighting wars, women made the damn beer like it was a sandwich :lol:

Her and her children were suffering because a strong black queen hasn't been represented in Hollywood and there are TONS of them in history according to her. So instead of choosing a strong black queen, she race swapped one and then told an Egyptian historian that he has no right to be offended or question her tradition because he's Egyptian and not Greek.

Levi amid all this double downs on their Gender Neutral line of clothes. In their own statement on discussing it, they even admit it's only 1% that identifies as trans, gender neutral, or blah blah blah. The stupid thing is, the clothes aren't any different at all. They just made jeans or denim skirts and put a gender neutral label on it.

The stupid is astonishing.

Side note - Many years ago, I was in Key West for a week. We had 1 day to kill before we could check into the Curry Mansion (awesome place). Picked a reasonably priced B&B in a good location that had just the 1 night available. Wasn't advertised online, but they were clothing optional. So 24 year old us are walking to our room and see a bunch of old fat people naked at the pool :lol:
