Politics Woke links

I'm rewatching John Adams on HBO and no way that would get made again in the same way today. I mean it has a gay director but its not woke at all, there is admiration for founding fathers and the tricky issue of slavery is mentioned but was not all consuming.

It really sucks how the propaganda of 1619 is so widespread and in such a short time. Western anglo culture was the first to BAN slavery and didn't stop there spilt blood and treasure to STOP it.

Y'all live in saudi did you know?

not being able to use the wrong bathroom is the same as being literally murdered.

Maybe he just meant he would be wearing a rainbow on his helmet like he did in SA?

In other news, Bluey caves to the fatties.

I thought we had a separate thread for the transracial, but maybe that was on the old board.

I’m over all the rainbow this, rainbow that, no one GAF anymore if you’re gay. My wife’s best friend for the last 30 years is in town for her birthday, he’s gay, but he doesn’t say anything about it, doesn’t act like it’s a superpower like so many of these dipshits do now. We went to New Belgium brewery yday, 1/2 the people there had rainbow shit on, or pro-trans, i didn’t stay long. WTF has happened to this world?

Woke map hammering the live action Lilo & Stitch, going to the point of getting the male lead replaced....because the ALL NATIVE Hawaiian cast isn't as dark as the animated skin color. They're calling it colorism. Comments literally included, "It's so wrong to change an existing character that is as dark as Lilo and others to be replaced with lighter skinned versions"

Uhhh, I don't see those same people doing anything but cumming every time they replace a decades old white character with a black actor. That's perfectly ok, but it's somehow wrong to use the accurate native actors to portray characters because they're not quite as dark?

Perhaps the most hypocritical stance yet. And of course, a lot of this is coming from Hawaiians who are darker and tweet shit like, "This is so wrong, I wanted her to look like ME!" and then everyone validates her. The self absorbed narcissism that you personally have to be represented in everything is so pathetic.

Yeah, how does anyone buy into that bullshit. A transwoman doesn't make a video saying "LOOK AT MY BULGE" when true transwomen would be disgusted by that. Those with gender dysmorphia should be sickened by their bulge, not telling everyone to look at it. It's tiktok videos of her attempting to exercise or workout are literally mocking women, trying to fulfill every misogynists stereotype of a woman.

Seriously, every feminist or actual person, if they truly feel "trans", should be fucking outraged by his schtick.

As part of the larger military-wide effort to promote diversity in the service’s pilot ranks, the 19th Air Force command near San Antonio, Texas, “clustered” racial minorities and female trainees into one class, dubbed “America’s Class,” to find out if doing so would improve the pilots’ graduation rates. However, not only did the effort fail to boost minority and women candidates’ success rates, but officers involved say they were ordered to engage in potentially unlawful discrimination by excluding white males from the class, documents show.

Wait. Racial discrimination is against the law? Who knew?

its nut just the gay thing. I think most of the major beer brands have supported pride month stuff. Who cares. Its the weird trans stuff impacting kids that pisses people off.

Bud light continues to see sales drop with an average of 25%. By region, New England is the lowest at around 15%. The west mountain region even beats the SE to Texas regions 25% with 29% drop. Even California is 18% down.

All the backtracking and firing they've done and sales continue to drop

Its pretty amazing when you think of the marketing in our lifetime its all been wildly successful, spuds mackenzie, bud girls, and some of the stuff this guy created

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12069715/Marketing-guru-Budweisers-iconic-commercials-says-company-destroyed-20-years-work.html

'It took us 20 years to take Bud Light beer to the Number 1 beer in the country, and it took them one week to dismantle it,' Lachky said of InBev, Budweiser's Belgian parent company.

It would be fascinating to see what would happen if they came out with a stronger statement. Can you imagine if they came out as strongly anti-trans? What if they sponsored Billboard Chris, maybe putting a tiny logo on his sandwich board? It'd be hilarious to see all the attempts to boycott from the pro-trans side.
