I enjoyed the Waters podcast, he’s far from stupid, and though i didn’t agree with everything he said, i don’t think he was necessarily was wrong. I think it’s naive to think the US hasn’t jumped into many conflicts in the past 50 years that were’t necessary, instead of deescalating, we escalated. I think we’ve been conditioned to go along with whatever bullshit we’re fed, shitbag politicians in the pockets of those who profit from it are the drivers. Maybe I’ve turned hippy, but i think we need more people like Waters presenting a different perspective.
I dunno, I find it pretty fucking stupid to go, "hmmm, I'm a ball tripping hippy has been, I know! I'll write Putin because he's going to heed my words!". Fucking retard.

And everyone knows we could have done without basically every war since WWII. Going after Bin Laden was necessary, we obviously couldn't just take it and not attack someone. It was just stupid to include Iraq into that war. Obviously there are factors we don't know, but I'd like to think we got something out of that we don't know about - more than just making money for the MIC. I think people would accept it more if we were just told the real reason instead of blaming communism or a dictator. "Hey dickwad Americans, you like your electricity and cars? Then we need to attack that country, directly or by proxy, to keep you in your lifestyle that you're accustomed to."
I didn't listen to the rest of that show either. It wasn't just what he was saying, it's his demeanor. It's the arrogance and mentality of most celebrities at any level that I just find insufferable. Most of them live in a bubble and their world views are just parroting talking points and lack a view of the real world or a bigger picture.

he’s a bit more than a has been, he’s pretty much a icon if you will of rock n roll, and he chooses to voice his opinion, and he has a pretty big platform, good for him. I’ve long been a fan of a non interventionist policy, so maybe if we weren’t fucking around all over the world, likely for $$$, maybe Bin Laden wouldn’t have attacked us. Rogan just repeated the lie that Roe vs Wade led to people calling for the reversal of gay marriage. I've literally heard NO ONE say this. There may be some obscure right wing nut who did, but zero legislation has been suggested and no one on Conservative media or politicians that I've seen has said anything remotely like this.

its based on Justice Thomas' concurrence on Dobbs. He noted that just because there's been other cases like Roe that stood didn't mean they are firm legal ground, so everyone took this to mean SCOTUS WAS GOING TO GET RID OF EVERYTHING including interracial marriage (Thomas's wife is white btw)

yeah the prolife centers and churches are the ones actually getting firebombed and threatened, and the FBI hasn't charged anyone in any of those; however they have dragged away grandmothers and others from their families for protesting outside abortion clinics.
I'm fine with abortions in the first trimester like many people, but the ridiculous behavior when congress could have passed an abortion law any time dems were in charge is stupid.

Many have prosaic explanations, but some are weird - taking photos or flashing the ships with light, some even landing on the deck.
Mystery drones can be explained in a bunch of ways I would think. Some of these videos released by the military and pilot interviews seem to defy physics. He's describing watching some UFO hauling ass and suddenly going in reverse. Something our military would need miles and miles to do a u-turn and this thing moved like a yoyo
One of his experiences he was off the coast of Jax. Aliens would make sense there.
