He was a dyed-in-the-wool old-school lefty. The only episode of his show that I have a clear recollection of is the one where he talked about lesbian nuns, but he was such a weenie.
He did give us this classic episode, though. Luther Campbell, Jello Biafra, Mike Muir and Wendy O Williams vs. Jack Thompson (who in years later would famously crusade against video games).

Mr. Greedy, making up for all the penguin kids that Sphen the Gay Penguin never had, because he was gay, has now died as well.
Maryland Zoo penguin who helped rebuild the species' population has died leaving 230 descendants
At 33 years old, "Mr. Greedy," was the oldest penguin at the zoo and lived to see five generations of offspring.
