The president shouldn’t have that much power per the constitution. But congress has allowed the executive branch to bloat as they have stayed the same. There are about 9 million fed employees and 5000 congressional members and staffers. They are intended to oversee the executive branch but can’t possibly do everything. The federal government size and power is a huge threat to all of our freedom. Certainly it’s evident with the hapless yet powerful cdc: none of the data we need yet they push stupid mandates that state and local govs follow

This is why the makeup of scotus is so key. They are the only real check. They have some upcoming cases that I’m praying will limit federal government reach.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but seeing how we'll continue the trend of having a President who never served in the military, I'd really like to see Commander in Chief removed as a duty of the President. Why the fuck should an empty, brain dead suit like Biden be the CIC? Or Trump or Obama or Clinton. Shouldn't it be a collective of Generals or something a bit more logical than some random dipshit lifelong crooked politician?

Well, that's by design, but I think you could also argue that there are already enough constraints upon the military - Congress has to authorize a declaration of war (outside the War Powers Act) and controls the purse strings. You can't fight if there is no money to buy fuel, bullets or food.

The OSHA vaccine mandate was a good start! The greenhouse gas one will be key. Typically judges have given federal agencies a lot of leeway since they have the experts. The con justices don’t like that, because unelected bureaucrats can wield excessive power. Please bbj that this gets curbed.

The left constantly harps on the right being totalitarian, but it’s really them that want unbridled authority. Look how they ASK private companies like Twitter to do their bidding. It’s disgusting.

Seriously I can't believe in this day and age the Russian people don't overthrow him. There must be enough western media leaking through for them to know what's going on. They can't buy that Ukraine is attacking them. And I can't believe a huge majority is against taking a neighbor country by force. I would think even in his upper echelon. Hopefully James Bond is being briefed.
