Well I think because the left is so monolithic and dominant in our culture - entertainment, academia, the media, the government, etc that all of them repeat the same dem talking points about nearly everything, so when someone comes along like gabbard, bill Maher or even nutty ole Kanye that isn’t just repeating the same dumb narrative on EVERYTHING the right embraces them because it’s refreshing.

You can be happy that someone isn’t a lib robot without agreeing with EVERYTHING they believe in.

This used to be more common, people would agree on some things and not others, but sadly it’s rare, and unfortunately both sides do it - though only the left tries to deplatform. See the Rs freaking out over some position that Dan Crenshaw needs to take to retain his moderate R seat.

I

True. I see so much hate online for Crenshaw. I still like him on a lot of policies, but he crosses the line a little too often to keep hardcore R's happy.

I haven't done the research to find out what he voted for, but I keep reading that he's sucking the WEF teet and he says that's inaccurate. He's a military guy, so I'm not surprised that he'd vote to send our money to Ukraine.

Yeah Ukraine is a good example - some republicans are for aid, others against, but many just ask for what the end is. You never see that sort of divergence publicly on major dem issues.

That's why it's stupid when you see the Dems scream that the filibuster needs to be removed. The Dems will stick together and filibuster every single time. R's will cross the aisle. If they ever got rid of it while the Dems are in control, as soon as the R's take it back and pass a bill the D's don't like, they'll be screaming that we need to reinstate it.

Also I love how it’s always a trump supporter in the headline of someone does something slightly jerky

But never a Biden or Obama or Bernie supporter when their folks do terrible things like shoot or drive over a bunch of people. Don’t they realize this just makes those in the middle more inclined to support trump?

Who fucking cares if a University Pres is R or D. What losers.
No fucking shit. Their job is pretty much 100% fund raising.

Also PCU did it better.

Aaaand... she's out.
Of the democrat party, that is.

She's 100% right. But I still don't trust her. You don't spend years being a socialist and anti-2A and then suddenly do a 180. Any Republican who embraces her is a fucking fool.

Luckily, she says nothing about the Republican party. She mentions Independent. So best case, maybe she can convince some D's to not vote lunatic.

This is a good take on her - Rs can applaud what she’s saying without agreeing on everything
