Nothing new as far as insider nuggets go, staff killed it with the official visitors last weekend. Samson Okunlola decides Thursday, us or Miami. He likes our program better but is serious about the money so Miami can still sway him.

What happened to Florida? One could make the argument Scott Stricklin happened. He watches DM fuck things up, then follows that up with a Sunbelt coach, and (allegedly) is not supportive of an aggressive NIL program, while we watch other programs scoop up talent? I do understand the NIL thing is complicated, but FFS, even CBN said weā€™re in the talent acquisition biz, but doesnā€™t seem to be acquiring the talent
 
The product on the field looks like a turd, but he's getting better talent than he should be. The transfer portal will move quicker once the early signing period is over. The recruits we have, barring flips, is outstanding.

If they close the class they have, pickup a QB like McCall... and maybe get one of Hall, ricks or the Montgomery kids this would literally be the best recruiting year we've had since 2010. Like a ridiculous success. Sometimes uf fans are so annoying. Not a big fan of Strickland either, but realistically we have no shot at the east for a bit... so fans should calm down and give Napier (humble but confident) a little slack after dealing w the past couple arrogant coaches who didn't recruit worth a crap.
 
Oh Iā€™m not saying we should whack either one, but SSā€™s performance is not exactly stellar. I do think Napier has a big pile of doodoo to sort thru, and I hope he does, last thing we need is to start over again. I would have felt more confident w a coach with more than sun belt HBC experience, and a DC that has more chops.

Weā€™ve done this same dance every 4 years for awhile: yes, meh, o shit, glad they fired the mfr.
