The trailer doesn't exactly make it look awesome. Terrible costumes of overly bronzed people like they're from the Jersey Shore with blonde wigs. I'm willing to bet they didn't get a home run with the casting like GoT. It's entirely possible the initial success of the show is based solely on people hoping it's as good as GoT and then the ratings drop after the first season or two.
Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think this is gonna be anywhere close to GoT level good.

Started that last night. 3 or 4 episodes in. Pretty damn funny. And pretty much exactly how I imagine those televangelists to be. Also, it was insanely predictable and I called it from moment one who was behind the blackmailing.
