Those are some weird, strong spices that I'd never guess. Clove? Coriander? Only 1/2 tsp, but also only 1/2 tsp of garlic power. Odd

When Sanders sold kfc to the pepsico people, he got to keep the Canadian stores. He didn't like what the new people were doing to the spices, so he contracted with another company to make his original spice mixture.
That company still sells it, I have some. It tastes exactly like kfc.
This has the salt and msg already added. You can buy just the spices, but it's bulk and sort of pricey. Get the linked one to try, it comes in a shaker. Chicken Seasoning Plus - Marion Kay Spices

Sage and coriander listed, interesting. I'm not convinced they don't just throw in a tiny amount of stuff like coriander to make the recipe sound more complicated/unique than it really is.

Sounds similar to my beans. Instead of ketchup, I use Sonny's sweet sauce. Instead of beef, I use pulled pork. And no carrots, that's weird in beans.

I like corn in a lot of things, especially when the sweetness adds a nice contract to salty or spicy. I've put corn in chili before, it's good. My kid makes me double the corn in chicken taco soup (which is more like a stew chili).

I have 2 bushels of corn in the freezer that I put upa couple months ago. Some creamed, the rest on the cob.

Wife made the best sourdough cinnamon rolls. I’m digging the sourdough phase. Have a friend starting a cookie boutique business and has been sending me test cookies. They’re great, but I’ve gained weight between the bread, cinnamon rolls, and cookies.

I bought a cheap cuisinart ice cream maker. Its pretty awesome.

I almost did that a couple months ago. Was going to make my own low sugar ice cream.....got lazy and mostly kicked the ice cream habit. I miss ice cream...so damn good, but it always makes me sleep terrible and night is when I like to eat it. Especially if the indica doesn't knock me out

I smoked a brisket yesterday. Not too shabby, but I'll go back to a more traditional method next time.
