Might be too close to soup or stew, which she won't eat unless she's sick. She has some legit OCD tendencies and breaking certain routines, traditions, etc. really upset her. Ugh. But I may use that for myself next week whether she eats it or not. :hatsoff:

That sounds good. Unfortunately the kid has an ulcer sore in her mouth, so all things acidic are off. That shit gets old, she's had issues with ulcers on her gums all her life, often enough that it regularly makes finding food a pain in the ass.

Having to remove most of the paprika out of the blackened chicken recipe :facepalm:
 
Bought a cheaper one in the $600 range, brand I don't remember, a few years ago....still had great reviews.

Hated the outcome. Even the fanciest pellets and using smoke tubes inside, I could barely taste any smoke. It was practically an oven. Makes me hesitant to waste money on a more expensive one. I'd need to taste the smoke first hand.
 
I have a traeger, it has a smoke setting, but not cold smoke, must be the same thing
I use a smoke tube, got it on amazon. Just light it and set it in my pellet smoker. The smoker isn't on, it's just the chamber.
68, if you're not tasting smoke, you're doing it wrong. Everything I've done has had real strong smoke flavor.
I'm doing some smoked deviled eggs for a cookout this weekend.

I'm not sure you can use a pellet smoker wrong. It's a literal plug and play :lol: Maybe there was something wrong with the one I had shipped, no idea. I've never had anything from another pellet smoker, so I can't compare.
