Yes all the things they claimed were happening - no coral in Great Barrier Reef,

That's been the story since Katrina. Katrina was supposed to be the beginning of man caused global catastrophes getting more frequent and severe. Instead we've seen the exact opposite.
Granted, Sept/Oct is traditionally the "busy season" for Florida hurricanes, so we'll see about this year.

....is this a subdued hurricane season? It seems like every year with not much happening so far. It rarely does this early, with late September and October being the busy time. And even then it's been pretty weak compared to 15+ years ago.
