Oh FFS. I just googled the definition to see if that's why they're confused and it absolutely is. Their example is ridiculous. "I asked for the river to be culverted".

A culvert is a (almost always) short length of pipe under permanent features to facilitate drainage. It's not really even a storm drain. Storm drains collect water into the inlet and direct it to stormwater management, it's an actual collection system. Culverts merely continue a drainage swale when it's interrupted by a driveway, road, etc. and a lot of the time that swale has so little slope you don't even see the water moving. I've seen a culvert used to balance the high water level between 2 adjacent ponds or wetlands, but that's fucking stupid to not use modified inlets with a window and skimmer.

Then their long time ceo retired and all the people I knew were kinda forced out. And they went deep into the green. from what I've read there was an inexplained pulse. The problem is there's no way to start from "the black" without fossil fuels. So while they won't say it was from renewables, it was from the over emphasis on solar and wind. Blowing up their nukes didn't help either.
