I'm not up to date on federal criminal procedure or the demographics of grand juries in the D.C. area, but it used to be that they'd bring high-profile cases in the Eastern District of Virginia instead of D.C. because juries in EDVA were much more conservative and likely to convict.

Sure, this situation is stupid....but I do hate jaywalkers in traffic, especially when it's that close to a crosswalk. The black people do it all the time here. They'll jaywalk right near a crosswalk, but also do it while you have the green light and walk right out in front of you making you stop. Then they walk slower and look at you. I'd love to see cops there arresting those cunts.
