Same here since Christmas night. No clue if covid, no lose of taste or whatever. Not vxd. Yesterday was kinda crappy, feel ok today w low grade fever. I would guess there's no reason to get tested? Figure they would just tell me to do what I am doing, hydrate, rest, d, c, zinc, quercetin, etc.

No fever for me. But a bit stuffy, sore throat, sneezing, and perhaps the most notable is that I'm just tired and lethargic despite how much I slept. Not nearly as lethargic as when I had Delta, not even close. I'm still working all day and doing chores, etc. I think it started on Christmas for me also.

My daughter woke up on Christmas morning with a 102 fever. Sad since it will be her last year believing in Santa. Least enthusiastic Christmas morning ever. She was miserable, just opening presents slowly without any show of excitement or joy at all. Like an hour or more later once the Motrin had kicked in, she started to get into it, but the presents were already open But she was out of town with her mom until Christmas Eve, so I didn't get anything from her. But my woman has been a little sick and her son has been sick with coughing and such for a week or so. So whatever they have is surely what I have.

But yeah, I don't see any reason to get tested. It's a cold, nothing more. If it happens to be omicron, it doesn't change any treatment and just adds more fuel to the panic mongers in the data collectors, so fuck them

Drs are saying, if you suspect you have omicron, you can stop it pretty quick with a mouth and nasal rise of water and a small amount of iodine.

It’s incredible how bad this admin has been on Covid once they got the vaccine out (which was good). Instead of turning to making testing and treatments more quickly approved they ignored it, despite the spending bill having billions to pay for this. Only recently was an fda head named - and still has to be confirmed. Instead of getting this shit done, decide on a mandate to draw attention away from the Afghanistan debacle. Gainesville is a different story. Still regular propaganda from the County, pushing these lies about Omicron being so dangerous and overloading hospitals with children. I’m amazed how many college aged kids are still wearing masks in public, though probably more virtue signaling than fear.
