Yep. And for Fauci to almost fake-retire only to say he has to stay in power to tell the plebes how to live.
 
There have been reports of an increase in people developing diabetes post covid. Fucking Chinese really know how to fuck with us.
 
So why are we hearing from Fauci again about needing to mask up again over this unseen resurgence of the pandemic? It's getting to be damn near harmless and here we go with the fear mongering again.
 
I think partially because Covid fear gives Fauci “power” & attention, and gives pretty much worthless bureaucrats the same thing. I saw someone fly fishing Saturday with a mask on, out in a mountain stream, no one nearby. I thought about going nearby & coughing incessantly & make them leave the spot they had staked out, but I’m trying to be mature, some anyway, so I didn’t

guy I used to work with posted a long traumatic email about how he was on a flight when this was announced and how awful it was to make this announcement and for people to put their masks on fingers and spin them around. This is a 40 year old man with no medical issues I know of.

I believe it's an extension of the Trump hate, they got so entrenched in it as a counter point to Trump and anti-maskers that they cant let it go. They also will have to find another non-verbal signal to show that they are liberals. Maybe they'll all start cross dressing.
 
Also I think a lot of them think its scientific even though unless its N-95 worn properly (which no one does) it barely helps. Its hilarious the plane one is freaking people out because everyone removes them to eat and drink.

In the liberal coastal areas like where i live the fear was really infectious. We'd been at a flea market and were going to lunch, and my friend was on the street and freaked out about not having her mask. Like, to walk in and sit down.
 
Yeah...I guess it's a product of what you watch or read. Liberal media is COVID COVID COVID DEATH DEATH DEATH while conservative media is kind of meh.

I mean twitter, fb etc were censoring anything that didn't agree with you were a terrible person if you didn't vax and mask.

I don't see how people can be that stupid. You're sitting at a table in a restaurant for an hour without a mask. What difference does walking 20 feet to the table make? None at all.

I still see people around here driving with their mask on. Still a high % wearing them at publix...primarily women. Like very disproportionately. Is it because they worry more or are more obedient to the media overlords?
