Fucking kids.
2 days ago, kid comes home from school and tells me the latest drama. A "friend" (M) half of the girls don't like anymore still hangs out with them. One of my daughter's best friends (V) is...a bit wild. She's either obnoxious or just wants to stare at her phone. The kid has repeatedly said she just takes food from people's lunch without them asking, she'll hit people pretending it's "play", and so on. She's been here a few times and she is indeed loud and a little obnoxious and her pansy parents don't seem like disciplinarians (definitely liberal). She's one of those kids that takes your food, eats some, and then asks if she can have some. So at lunch, she did this one again from the girl they haven't been treating that great. The response was this tiny thing (M) (She has a growth disorder), walked away for a moment and V took her food. M snapped, punched her in the face and scratched her. Then V cried and got mad that M wouldn't apologize. And then eventually M sarcastically apologized.
Short story long, my daughter huffed and puffed a little that I said V had it coming. You don't fucking take people's food without asking. You don't punch people and don't expect someone to not eventually fight back, even if she thinks she's playing. Yet she makes excuses for her friend because she doesn't like M anymore.
So yesterday I'm driving the kid to tumbling, she talks about more nonsense going on at school and mentions that V is rather well known for being violent at random times. She's unpredictable. Now, V is scrawny as shit and my kid calls her weak. My response, "You admit she's known as being violent and you don't think she deserved to get punched in the face? That's not how life works hun. If you take people's food without asking, you deserve to get punched if she doesn't stop after being asked repeatedly. If you punch people all the time, even playing, don't be surprised when someone loses it and punches her out. And she clearly can't take it when someone gives her a taste of her own medicine, thinking she's owed an apology and cries about it. If she takes that attitude and behavior to high school where you merge with other middle schools, she'll get a whole lot worse than a couple scratches".
Girls just hitting puberty.....this is gonna be fun.

When my son was about 4, I took him to McDonald's while we were down south so my wife could visit her mother while she was in a physical therapy rehab place.
My kid goes to play on the playground and some other kid about his age tells him he can't play on it. My kid comes and tells me so I said don't listen to him and go play. Little fucker puts his hand on my kid's chest and tells him again he can't play there. My kid comes and tells me and I told him if the kid touches him again to punch him in the face. Thankfully the shithead stopped his shit and it never came to that.
Told my wife about it and she was all like "you can't teach him stuff like that!" Lol. I told her it was my job. If anyone touches you, knock them the fuck out. I don't care if he is 4 years old.

100%. Told me kid the same thing when someone picked on her at daycare when she was like 7. She was worried about getting in trouble, they're supposed to tell a teacher. I told her the teachers clearly aren't doing shit, so you worry about defending yourself, I'll handle the school. You'll never get in trouble with me for defending yourself and I'm the only one who have to worry about, not a school or daycare.

Was researching my skinning knife, that I bought in my teens, and it has gone up in value. If I remember correctly, it was about $40.00 at WalMart. Just saw one online, in rougher condition, that went for $200.00.

That reminds me, I didn't share one of my other kills....I love my previous skinner....(ESEE Ashley Game Knife); perfect blade, long comfortable handle, S35VN more than adequate to hold an edge. But the MKC I bought, I tested it out on a coon a 2-3 weeks ago. Not the whole thing, I wasn't keeping it

Fun story from yesterday. Me and the gal I'm with are eating lunch at the Sonny's bar. An old black lady, retired nurse who had to go back to work doing overnight shifts to make ends meet, sits down beside us and starts talking 90 to nothing. She's from the country, loves her farm vegetables and church. Now I'm wearing a redneck nation shirt, my gal is from Alabama and has a twang. It was clear we're country folk. We have a pleasant conversation with her. Then the woman starts on about how messed up the world is today. All these illegals, the economy, all the right wing talking points. At this point the bill was paid, just finishing our tea. And then she gave me the perfect opportunity to leave right away....
The woman says "God help us if Trump gets back in, how much worse are things going to get". She actually went on a few more sentences.
I just couldn't. Most of me wanted so bad to ask her WTF she's talking about, how is this Trump's fault and not Biden's? Is she retarded or just stupid? Name a single policy Biden has done that helped instead of make things worse? But I refrained and said we need to get going, have a good day and got out of there.
NOTHING we said would indicate a rational reason she would have started Trump bashing to us. How oblivious can one be?
