🤬Bitch Bitch thread

Ex called this morning. SOmeone in front of her hit a deer next to my kids school. Called me to come take care of it.

I'm on a deadline for work, so I don't have time to deal with it. But dammit, free venison on a rare cold morning that's good for gutting. Not that I have anywhere to dump a tub of guts and organs or the remaining body when I'm done.

If the bladder burst, or other organs, the meat won't be good anyway.

All depends on where it's hit. I've hit a deer in the head/front shoulders, no internal damage. At 30 mphs in that zone, decent chance of it having been salvageable.

Work bitch.

I have a project that is working all bass ackwards. A storage unit facility. The client wants the building in the middle of the site to be one continuous indoor storage building. Problem? That building is 415 feet long and there's a 5 foot elevation drop across the site. It's not physically possible to grade an access drive and keep the floor elevation on one slab. The only way is to break the building into several and step the building/slab down a foot every in 100' building segments.

That's how it has to be done. That's what will end up being done. Yet for some reason, our engineer is letting the architect (who isn't permitted to begin work by the client yet) break the building up by his design without knowing my grading requirements fully and I'm the one who has to design and permit this. No, the architects idea of breaking it into 2 or 3 slabs still won't work. I know because I already tried grading it out. Why does the architect have any say in this? Their building doesn't mean fuckall if the site doesn't work.

What. The. Fuck. A waste of time and budget.

No I was on zoom on my computer and trying to pull my computer out of my leggings side pocket but it made my shoulders look like I was grabbing my dick

Turns out a sinus infection is the least of my worries. One of my twins, whom lives in Santa Fe, is going in Friday to get induced, they’re having a baby boy. Just found out the biopsy on her lymph node came back as Hodgkin’s lymphoma. I didn’t think there was much I couldn’t deal with, until this. I’m fucking terrified.

Sorry to hear that man, that really sucks. I've dealt with a lot of personal shit in the last 15 months of sobriety and while confident now, I know that something serious happening to my daughter is the one thing that would most likely break me. I hope you both kick this thing in the nuts.

Jesus Christ Tommy, I’m so sorry. Sounds like they caught it early and I know lots of people who have kicked it. You’re a fighter and I’m sure she is too ?

We all gave ourselves last night to cry, but today forward, we’re focused on bringing baby Owen into this world, then kicking the c mfr’s ass. Thanks for the kind words, not sure why posted, guess I needed to vent, and y’all are my friends, most of whom I’ve never met

the receptionist here just got promoted to be our marketing person because she has an outgoing personality...she's dumb as a bag of hammers and knows literally nothing about mortgages or title insurance...all of the sudden she's an expert and wants to try to tell us how to do our jobs and/or give us suggestions on dealing with clients...this won't end well...I've already told her once this week to leave me alone...the next time I will add expletives...
