“The Knave abideth.” I dare speak not for thee, but this maketh me to be of good comfort; I deem it well that he be out there, the Knave, being of good ease for we sinners.
Funny...I didn't get a sticker...when I got home Bill asked where it was and I told him I didn't get one. He said he didn't believe I voted and accused me of having an affair.
HAHAHA... that's hilarious.
But seriously, why the hell would anyone vote if not for the sticker? I guess I'll have to call the polls ahead of time to make sure they are in stock, so I don't risk wasting my time.
I must say, news... I'm jealous of that sweet peach sticker. All I've ever gotten was (like Weeg) this:
I think it's closer than people realize too. The polls on Yahoo are laughable. I don't know where they get their numbers...
The stickers are a way to lord your civic pride over non-sticker heathens who have yet to vote. If only for one day, you have tangible proof that you are indeed better than most of the tools you see during the day.
I took Lainie to a Palin rally here in Kissimmee yesterday. It was cool. I'm glad she got to experience something like that. I got my GATORS for McCain/Palin shirt and it says "Don't Tax Me Bro" with the Obama "seal" as the O in Bro. Funny. Maybe it'll be a collectors item someday?

haha... That's a pretty good shirt, Allison. I'd definitely hang onto it.
We voted on Saturday morning at the local Randall's. No line at all at 7:30 AM, but over 8000 people had voted at that location. The early voting totals here in Texas are going to be incredible! Too bad Obama won't win here, but many down ballot Democrats will.
This thread motivated me to early vote since I will be pretty busy on the 4th... Crystal and I went to the SOE a hour ago and cast our votes for Barry. Things went unbelievably smoothly. We were in and out. there was even a guy (Obama Supporter) picking up kids on campus, bringing them to the polls, and driving them back (As a campaigner.... what a GREAT idea). I'd really urge all you guys to go and vote early (even you republicans). I'm all for as many people voting as possible. It's just so important to have a say in the future of the country, even if your guy doesn't win. Sorry about the rambling; I'm high on politics right now. Now off to study for my stats exam... BOO
