Gator Football Week 3 Preview: Tennessee

Post by DocZaius »

The meat of Florida's SEC schedule gets underway this week as the Gators travel to Knoxville to take on the Volunteers of Tennessee. The ESPN College GameDay crew will be there, marking the 34th time the Gators have appeared on the show - more than any other school. Kickoff is at 6:00 p.m., and will be televised on ESPN.

Eh, fuck it. I don't have time for an in-depth analysis this week. Suffice to say that we've won 7 straight and we're gonna make it 8.

Gators 35, Vols 21. If you want more than that, go ask The Unsportsmanlike Gentleman.

Wow what a great game. I have to say I am impressed with the way we are progressing his season. Driskell is looking more confident - he still has work to do but he's making better decisions.

Don't think we'll beat LSU or Bama this year but I'm more confident that we'll go 8-4 or even 9-3.

Kinda nice having a defense that makes adjustments at halftime and shuts people down in the second half. I like it.

If we look like we did last night, I think we can give LSU a game at least. Starting the year, I had us losing to LSU, USC and unfortunately, F$U. That might not be the case this year. Last night was the first time we looked like a team and I have to say that I liked what I saw. Our O-Line still needs work, but we won't be 7-6 this year.
If the devil had a name, it'd be Chuck Finley.

i think our adjustments weren't just defensive-minded. I liked how we were able to confuse the defenses with misdirection and motion
