NIH blocking access to a genetic database if you are doing the wrong kind of science:

My colleagues at other universities and I have run into problems involving applications to study the relationships among intelligence, education, and health outcomes. Sometimes, NIH denies access to some of the attributes that I have just mentioned, on the grounds that studying their genetic basis is “stigmatizing.” Sometimes, it demands updates about ongoing research, with the implied threat that it could withdraw usage if it doesn’t receive satisfactory answers. In some cases, NIH has retroactively withdrawn access for research it had previously approved.

Note that none of the studies I am referring to include inquiries into race or sex differences. Apparently, NIH is clamping down on a broad range of attempts to explore the relationship between genetics and intelligence.

guessing those unblocked are the ones who agree with NIH on stuff!

The trump admin really worked hard to build on some house republican work on making science more transparent, because there are a lot of shenanigans esp with environmental science. The original studies on lead in paint and air pollution leading to laws actually have some major errors. it doesn't mean that lead and air pollution aren't harmful, but its pretty common to overstate bad effects. Science should be open and the results reproducible. This is another case of a giant federal bureaucracy of unelected, unaccountable career freeloaders thinking they know more than you. Every day I'm alive I hate big government more.

I suspect they don't want the fact there is disparity in health outcomes by race to have any relationship to weight and lifestyle. just a guess!!

A North Carolina school district has decided to halt all future competition with one of its school's female volleyball teams after a trans player allegedly injured a player on an opposing team,The National Desk reports.

A trans player on the Highlands School volleyball team reportedly spike the ball hard at a girl on the opposing team, hitting her in the face and giving her “severe head and neck injuries, resulting in long-term concussion symptoms,” according to the Education First Alliance.

School board members generally have other jobs and stuff so I wonder how involved they are. Certainly when they find out heads should roll and their treatment of parents is ridic.

But what I really want to know is about who sets the age limits on these books, the publishing of them and the libraries buying them. There is clearly a whole industry of these “young adult” graphic sex books that never existed before and I would like to see conservative investigative journos figure out who what why when and how of it. It’s clearly been hidden in plain sight.

All great questions.

And true about the school board, but why nothing is apparently done is baffling. With all these videos coming out, every day school in the country should be scouring their library to get rid of them. You know kids hear about this or see the video and search them out at this point.
 
I think they think some experts have blessed the books. And I think those experts need to be exposed.

There is a whole genre on Amazon “young adult lbtgq issues” and most of this porn has awards.

Remember the award winning books we read at school? They involved horses, or at most Anne Frank. Wtf happened?

Mental institutions were closed down. Those patients then bred with other insane people... they're now democrats.
 
What are the exact words we're supposed to use to describe it? I don't want to get in trouble for coming up short.
