I'm not surprised at all. One church I left has gay pride stuff outside and does gay pride events with the community. Another church I tried supported abortion and didn't like the Roe v Wade decision.
If churches are going left wing, bet your ass that a school that's supposed to be "religious" is going to. The administrators are still liberal like any other University I imagine.
As an aside, my old church held an event recently because last week or maybe 2 weeks ago, the local gay alliance community center was vandalized. Windows smashed so they could get in and trash the place a little. Of course no one will say what we know....A liberal did it. No one, no one at all cares about someone being gay these days. And in far left Gainesville, no one is vandalizing that stupid building in a strip. And rednecks from 30 minutes away aren't driving into to town to find a tiny hole in a strip in Gainesville to spend time trashing it. 100% they did this to themselves.
