Is there a school board in this country that isn't completely fucking retarded? Even Gilchrist county's school board, where my mom taught for 35 years, was retarded and that's a purely redneck county. School boards run by people out of touch with reality, often who were never teachers and often people aren't even parents. It's baffling.

Yeah, normal people want no part of that shit usually, especially after spending a long career teaching, they've had enough. My mom would have been great at that job, but she retired at 62 once she hit her 35 years/benefits package. At the family garage sale a couple weeks ago, a woman older than my mom mentioned she was a kindergarten teacher and how she came out of retirement because she missed it. My mom was like, "I did 35 years and the last 5 were miserable because of the internal politics and trying to tell me how to teach math. I'd never go back to that".

The way the teaching world has changed and been dominated by lunatics, they're going to run good teachers into the ground, leaving those positions left for no one but the other lunatics who have an agenda to push.

Today, of course, didn’t mention Thomas’ inherent physical advantages or the female swimmers struggling to compete against him. Instead, NBC doctored a photo of Thomas to hide his masculine features.....

.....The woman who took the photo, Erica Denhoff, says NBC “softened” the picture without her knowledge or permission.

“I pride myself on providing authentic images as a photojournalist,” Denhoff told the Washington Examiner. “It’s really important as photojournalists that we transmit authentic photos that have not been altered.”

Denhoff takes the edit personally, having graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, the college for which Thomas swims. Denhoff also competed in women’s track and field, so she is well aware of the disadvantages women face when competing against men.
