If you can't reduce crime, pretend it doesn't exist and always blame racism.
I have a burned copy of it, maybe I'll watch it.
Back when Netflix started out and you could get 3 dvds shipped at one time, I'd get 3, burn copies of the movie and send them back the next day. I have a huge cd case full of movies from 2005ish
If I really, really love a movie, I'll still buy it on on dvd/blu ray. Now I've only bought a handful in years....but I have a ton from the pre-streaming easily access age. And back in my Hops days when I'd get shit faced and walk to Best Buy and buy movies. But it can be as simple as the wifi going out in a storm. My wifi here is notoriously unreliable.Thought of you when I saw this article:
‘My whole library is wiped out’: what it means to own movies and TV in the age of streaming services
Ownership rights are buried in the fine print and downloading or buying physical copies may be the only ways to keep your favouriteswww.theguardian.com
I love the convenience of streaming services and I "own" about 50 movies on Amazon, but I do wonder if they'll decide to cut off access to my purchases one day, doesn't matter the reason.
I'd love to have the time to buy physical copies of the stuff I like, rip them to a hard drive and have a server set up in my house.
Even worse, when my blu ray remote quit working (as in, the kid broke it) and there was a movie the kid wanted to watch that wasn't streaming, ......I had to use the PS4.Getting up and putting a disc in is a bridge too far.
Agree I only have a few DVDs anymore but I’m donating most. The only ones I use are some old workout ones.Getting up and putting a disc in is a bridge too far.

Mark Whittingslow, a 55-year-old project engineer in the Houston, Texas area who voted for Trump in the past two elections. He says he gets his news from local news channels, search engines like MSN and Google and social media platforms.
Why he supports RFK Jr: "Mainly it's the idea of an honest government. I don't feel that in my lifetime we've ever really had that, and to have someone come into that office and promise to be transparent about what our government is doing and saying and the policies that they're enacting... I would be willing to support RFK Jr even though he's not a conservative."
