I legitimately can't understand the position that you won't submit black people to police scrutiny because of the tenuous "harm" it causes them, when you have an opportunity to prevent violent crimes - committed overwhelmingly against other blacks - by conducting lawful searches and prosecutions.

I love the convenience of streaming services and I "own" about 50 movies on Amazon, but I do wonder if they'll decide to cut off access to my purchases one day, doesn't matter the reason.

I'd love to have the time to buy physical copies of the stuff I like, rip them to a hard drive and have a server set up in my house.

If I really, really love a movie, I'll still buy it on on dvd/blu ray. Now I've only bought a handful in years....but I have a ton from the pre-streaming easily access age. And back in my Hops days when I'd get shit faced and walk to Best Buy and buy movies. But it can be as simple as the wifi going out in a storm. My wifi here is notoriously unreliable.
 
I gave away all of my dvds except for a few hard to find ones and my Sopranos boxed sets. There isn't even a dvd player in my house anymore. I never jumped on the blu-ray train.
 
It will surprise no one but I have an international player I got to watch British shows before Britbox etc; the only show I still use it to watch is the Irish show LOVE/HATE
