Weird shit going on

Live preview still not back on Firefox for Windows. Don't know why. Even with all other modifications disabled. Something's fucky. Works on a test forum with a clean install, no problem.

When I first signed in it was slow loading photos on Gingers but then when I went to the Girls Thread, bam it started working fine. Then back to Gingers and Red heads and it was fine too.
SO, after about 5 minutes it worked great!!!

Well, some days may be like that. I'll try to feed the hamsters an extra carrot tonight to see if that'll make 'em run the wheel faster.

I'm still trying to pin down this live preview firefox issue so I've disabled all the bells and whistles for a while. You can still use the forum.

Just got back in after being unable to sign in for 3 days. Didn't have anyway to contact you but Gatorbill did. Just in case this happens again can you email me your email address?

Here's mine- deleted

I'll delete this message once you email me. Thanks!!

The server's throwing random 500 errors. If you get a blank page or a page that says 500, just do a hard refresh (ctrl+f5 in windows) until the page comes up.

Not sure what the issue is. I didn't change anything and the fact that it fixes itself upon refresh leads me to believe it's my web host having the issue and nothing that I can do will fix it.

This is so weird. Just when I think it's over, it starts again. And some pages are just disappearing. I think I fixed it - there was a setting in .htaccess that I changed. For some reason my web host automatically changes my .htaccess file periodically and it seems like it was after one of those changes that we started having issues.

We'll see. Please report any problems here or email me. Thanks.

It's just inconsistent now. Sometimes it works just fine then sometimes I have to keep refreshing the page. Hitting the "back" arrow then trying again works well too..

Yes, I've got a support ticket in to my web host.

I even did a fresh install of the forum software in a separate testing environment (using my host's installer) and the same thing is happening, so it's not anything I did. Last time this happened, they blamed it on the forum software.
