To be fair, his Karl Malone impression was hilarious.

its pretty incredible how quickly things have changed - I was listening to a podcast that pointed out Whoopi Goldberg was actually edgy in her day. Only a few offer any sort of resistance. It used to be the R's who didn't want us to listen to rap and Prince, now its completely the Dems.

R's have always wanted to save people from the devil, D's have always wanted to save people from themselves, end result usually looks pretty similar

the majority of Rs have become nearly all free speech in normal circumstances (other than not having porn for kids and other rational exceptions) over the past 10 years though. its been a huge sea change.

The gauntlet is thrown.

Yeah there are so many contradictions, look at jimmy kimmels man show he did black face and all that.

It’s not at all even

Laughter is the best Mexican.

Apparently one of the removed popdcasts was with Kyle Kulinksi, who I don't always agree with but find to be pretty pragmatic. But that episode, he railed against Saudi Arabia hard. Just so happens that spotify is expanding in the Saudi market.

One hell of a coincidence.

Look human rights are a big deal if it’s a fictional person with no id who can’t vote, but if it’s an actual human being beheaded for sorcery or forcibly sterilized in a country big tech wants money from, it’s crickets

Those passionate liberals.

Saw somewhere on twitter a great list of artists on Spotify no one seems to care about. R Kelly was already mentioned. Bill Cosby's material is still there. Michael Jackson. Countless rap artists with criminal records. Can't remember the specific people.

I really should stay off twitter, the amount of stupid just keeps pissing me off. That list of Left Wing vs Right wing guests on Rogan that shows like 5x the amount in favor of Right.....has Tulsi Gabbard, Russell Brand, and many other blatantly left wing people listed as Conservatives. Tulsi literally ran for Democratic President and is an outright socialist in most regards and they label her as Conservative  No agenda in that list, nothing to see here, just get outraged and move along.

I think / hope this cancel culture nonsense is reaching the end of its lifespan, and that the proponents of it enjoyed their short time in “power”, and go back to being the dipshit whiny bitch ass losers they really are.

This is how you defeat it: don't give in, don't apologize. Once they realize it's ineffective, they will stop. Kudos to Spotify for refusing to cave and axe Rogan (but boo on them for removing some of his past episodes, and him for apologizing).

Agree - I wish more had the balls of Chappelle.

Calling someone the N word - apologize
Discussing the N word in a rational way - nope

I guess Rogan stuck up for Trevor Noah when his past anti Semitic jokes came out; now Noah is piling on Rogan. What a ducking douche
