It depends on where you are. Minnesota, probably not, St John’s county Florida, they’re looking for anybody they can. Sheriff there is trying to win the game on who has the most immigrants rounded up. And I’d imagine it’s the same in many conservative area’s where they want to promote how conservative they are. But regardless, if they’re legal, they don’t need to worry.

Sure, but we have ass loads of immigrants of all kinds in Florida. Seems to be plenty of Asians wherever you go. But in general, they really aren't just snatching up anybody that isn't white as much as the left wants to make it seem that way. The only way an Asian should be worried if they're not illegal if they really think "they all look alike" to us so they'll be confused with an illegal.

I think it’s easy to say don’t worry if you’re not here on a visa, and I’ve reassured my daughter many times that they’ll be fine, but I bet it’s unsettling to be Japanese here on a visa, albeit somewhat of a permanent visa. I’m far from a left winger, but I think the Trump admin is doing more harm than good to themselves with this phase.

They should be fine if the agents can tell the difference between Jap and Chinese. I mean, I'm just assuming that the illegal asians they're primarily after are Chinese, we saw plenty of military aged Chinese who were well dressed strolling through the border. The Japs are more reasonable people. They love their country, they have a good government, if they come here, they aren't "escaping" anything, they're our ally (which we can't say for any single other country of origin for most other illegals).

Personally, I don't care what damage the admin is doing to themselves. I have no faith in their unwillingness to arrest, prosecute, or even getting a Democrat criminals out of elected positions, so who cares, it's all temporary. Not one Trump EO codified? Omar proven to commit immigration fraud and put Somalis first, but she's still got her seat? That's so beyond fucked up and Republicans do nothing. So fuck it.....Go full bore for as long we can. And the 1984 reference, believe your eyes and ears? I've seen at least 2 different angled videos that clear as day showed he was hit and they're claiming it's not. It's like them punching me in the face and telling me that they're not punching me in the face.

Timcast had on some young whore to argue on the left's behalf. How do I know she's a whore? I saw her in clips of the Whatever podcast. Still, despite her being a woke whore with stupid glasses, she's hot as hell. But she literally spent 2 hours straight denying the video footage they played repeatedly in slow motion. She kept saying stupid shit like "He jumped back, he wasn't hit" to explain his feet magically sliding on the ground. The mental gymnastics to pull this grift was impressive, incredibly annoying.

In hindsight maybe you can make that call because you know he wasn't "run over." But imagine him in the moment. He's got a split second to react. The car is accelerating toward him. Her wife is screaming at her to "DRIVE DRIVE!" She's already disobeyed commands to exit the vehicle. He's got to guess her intentions with perfect clarity? With his own life depending on his decision?

By the way, yes ICE can arrest you for obstructing them. Even if there is a plausible explanation for your actions that makes it not obstruction, you don't have a right to resist law enforcement with force - deadly or non-deadly. You don't have a right to flee a lawful arrest. The remedy is that you get arrested and fight your arrest in court, not that you endanger the officer's life by driving at or near him, regardless of your intent.
 
I mean, unless you're a total asshole, why let it escalate to the point that they are trying to arrest you?
 
Wheel's spinning out, split second, no clue when the wheels are going to catch and he'd be dragged under the car, possibly killed. She'd be arrested for attempted vehicular homicide if she wasn't shot and he wasn't dead, would obv be murder if he dies. I'm all for not killing people, and taking precautions not to do so, but he was in front of 2 tons of metal trying to accelerate at him. Feel sorry for her kids, and even the wife that egged her on. I'm sorry for the ice officer as well. It isn't a good situation.

Do what he did, and step out of the way? It obv didn’t stop the car in its tracks, so was it really necessary? I understand it’s easy after the fact, and she did put herself in harms way. I suppose having daughters that age in that town is probably affecting my position.

There’s ice on the ground, how does he know she’s not going to swerve wherever he jumps or lose control?

I hope your daughter isn’t chasing ice agents and would comply with basic orders. She’s more likely to be harmed by an illegal ice is arresting. This lady is over 40

Of course they’re not, they would never put themselves in harms way, or not comply, they were raised to be respectful & to use their brain. She’s 37, my twins are 34, hard to believe they’re that old.
