I haven't noticed. The produce I buy is the same, but I don't know how much of that is Publix vs. Florida vs. wherever else.
I can tell you MOST of Publix's first is dogshit. It's already rotting by the time it's in stores. Apples, strawberries in a particular are always on sale because not many of them are good. Strawberries with mold in the container, heavily bruised apples or your finger sinks right in when you go to give it a light squeeze. Watermelons....$6 for a tiny slice. 5 years ago you could buy an entire watermelon for that. $7 for a small pineapple. Bell peppers, onions, still high.
I have no faith that a big chain like Publix will actually lower their prices on most of the items.
