⚡ACHTUNG!⚡ Plane crash - it wasn’t me

there are so many helicopters around this area. It seems so quiet when I go elsewhere. I work about 4 miles due south of the airport in the Potomac and the helicopters flying by are constant. As are the planes landing.

I wonder how many of these military helicopter flights are shuttling brass from pentagon, cia and nearby bases, if this one had dropped someone off or was picking up someone. It’s quite a perk. Maybe if it’s not a time of war they can drive like everyone else.

The plane not seeing it or being able to maneuver, I get. The blackhawk pilot, that's baffling. I've already seen the "WAS it an accident????" posts on X

Let's see the manifest on the plane and see if anyone was worth killing....My best guess is a DEI blackhawk pilot :scratchchin:

Side note on the difference between (most) Conservatives and liberals - Conservatives (or likely Conservatives) die by accident, natural disaster, etc. and liberals celebrate. A DC plane, which has a high probability of left wing lunatics for passengers, goes down and all the conservatives talk about prayers and God bless those souls.

I mean, except me. A DC plane goes down, I'm an omelet/eggs guy. Same as, Burn LA Burn!

Air traffic controllers warned a US Army helicopter it was on course to collide with a passenger jet, with audio captured from the deadly accident ending in audible gasps from those in the control room.

In a deadly mid-air collision Wednesday night, the helicopter struck the Bombardier plane operated by an American Airlines subsidiary as it was approaching for landing at Reagan National Airport.

After a "fireball" explosion, both aircraft shot into the icy Potomac River.

"Pat 2-5 do you have the CRJ in sight?" a controller asked, using the call sign for the Black Hawk helicopter, asking if it could see the airplane.

My husband periodically watches flight aware and planes going by from our condo. This is creepy. All the emergency is in red

How could he NOT see the plane? Those things are lit up like Christmas trees.

Pilot had to have either: Been drunk as hell, done it intentionally, or had a serious mechanical failure.

Can't remember what source but someone said chopper was on a training flight. Seems weird to be doing it in DC.

Sorry shitty WiFi won’t let me

Did a double take on the pilot who died, looks like my bffs daughters pilot boyfriend though the one who died is older

I just noticed the “continuity of government” black hawk training. Could have been going to whatever hidey hole government officials go to during ww3: mountain in wv or whatnot.
