Looks like one of the centerpieces of our transfer haul only made it a few weeks in Gainesville. The big olineman from Baylor is putting his name back in the portal. Few rumors stating he has a weed problem, fighting with other players/coaches, got hurt and stopped going to class/meetings. Not sure what is true, but he was expected to start.

Beating FSU is always satisfying. I'm looking for some improvement. Like to have an 8- or 9-win season.
 
I think weā€™ll be ok offensively, decent line, stud rbs, Nappy is a competent O guy. Defensively, dunno, that fat dick we had as a DC under Mullen was fā€™n terrible both at coaching & recruiting, and a new DC, but, think talent is better, similar D scheme, Raymond coaching all of the secondary will help. 8-4?

Yeah, I agree, our offense should be fine if any of the qbs can be a game manager type. I think our defense is going to be better, but it may take a good part of the season before they start showing it. Our dline should have more depth than weā€™ve seen in awhile but our back seven is really young.
 
We just got a commitment from another hotshot qb, Austin Simmons, 2025, but could reclassify and come this fall, though seems pretty unlikely to me

McKinney (Texas) High safety Xavier Filsaime has revealed his commitment to the Gators. Heā€™s a 5-star prospect in the 2024 class, according to 247Sports, and the 36th-ranked recruit in the country by the industry-generated 247 Composite (just missing 5-star status in the Composite). Filsaime had previously announced a group of 5 finalists that also included Georgia, LSU, USC, and Oregon.

Powell is transferring. The rumor is he got into a nasty fight with Coach Peterson and both are gone. I hate football.
