Smart is whining about not being able to bring recruits to the cocktail party, but there is no SEC or NCAA rule against it:

Georgia has given itself the option to bring recruits to this yearā€™s rivalry game against Florida in Jacksonville, setting the school up to break from a longstanding agreement between the two programs, according to Seth Emerson of The Athletic.

The reigning national champions have reportedly set aside some of their ticket allotment for the Oct. 29 game specifically for recruits. The two rivals had previously agreed jointly for years not to do so, despite there being no SEC or NCAA rule against it.

It remains unclear if Georgia will end up inviting recruits to the contest, or how many the school would bring. Florida, as the home team in 2023, would have the option to host recruits next season.

All those twitter people that two months ago, said he couldn't recruit, can fuck right off.
yeah I'm willing to give him more than 5 minutes

Going to be a rough first month of games. Mullen would go 1-3 or 2-2, I'm guessing there will be a large contingent of our fan base who will lose their shit if we aren't 4-0.

The Florida Gators landed a massive addition to their 2023 recruiting class on Saturday afternoon. They landed their highest rated commitment to date in the class when Gardendale (AL) Top100 defensive lineman Kelby Collins pulled the trigger and committed to Billy Napier and his coaching staff. Though Collins had been down to Alabama and Florida in the days leading up to his decision, he let the coaching staff know of his intentions to pick them beforehand.

"I talked to Coach Napier and Coach [Sean] Spencer and just let them know that I like what's going on here and I want to be a part of it. They were pumped."

When settling on the Orange and Blue when it came time to make his pick, it was the vibe he got from the new coaching staff assembled that played a big factor.

"I just fell in love with the program and the coaches. They got a real plan. All the players have bought in for such a short period of time and that stuck out. The history all the coaches got and the energy they bring every day is something you want to be around."

Really getting some good players, our dl, db and wr class is nasty. If we can pull some big uglies on the ol it would far exceed my expectations.

Might have another 4 star DL commit today.

We really just need solid LB and OL to finish out and this is a well rounded, high quality class for the first time in a long while.

We currently rank 2nd if you just go by recruit quality:
