With all due respect, fuck off. You have one country that is a democracy, and another group of people who want ALL OF the other group to die. One group had paratroopers go into a fucking concert and kill and rape unarmed people. If you're going to quibble about who the good guys are fuck off.

Seriously, though - I wasn't trying to say "both sides are equally bad." I was just pointing out that both sides use propaganda to their own ends and you can't necessarily believe every story coming out of there, especially the more outlandish ones.

For the record, Hamas are the evil ones in this conflict and I'm squarely in Israel's corner.

Well sure, everyone uses propaganda. Shit, look at the U.S. propaganda to instigate and fund the Ukraine war.

Now seriously, did Israel need to make up women being raped and children being beheaded to be the victim here? They were the victim. The moment terrorists target civilians, you're the victim. Just getting blown up is enough to wage war. If the claims are a lie, they were an unnecessary lie.

I can kinda see the point of people who say palestine has been shit on, but why do we care? They were the weak that were conquered. Israel dominates the area. How is that different than any other spit of land on this planet? Generations of Palestinians are raised to want to eradicate Jews both for alleged oppression and extremists in religion. It's pure hate. Liberal ideology makes the same absurd analogies with the middle east as they do America. They compare our notions of slavery today to justify hatred on our founding fathers for slavery. They make the same Western peace, love, and fairness lie and apply it to the Jews/Palestinians while not understanding how old and complicated this "war" is.

Biden says various things Israel is doing "is a mistake". That's exactly how you support your allies, Biden? To go on tv and tell them they're a mistake?

You can't win a war against people who target civilians, use them as shields, and also use them as weapons if you're not willing to have civilian collateral damage. The high road loses a war like this.

Projected or intentional maneuvers?

My favorite conspiracy theory I've heard so far is that the announced Biden visit over there into a war zone is to get him assassinated so we have can go to all out war and justify it.
 
This is escalating quickly. The story went from "We're preparing 2,000 trips to send to Israel" to "We already have 17,000 troops there and we're preparing 2,000 more". We have 2 strike carriers heading that way and with each carrier has a fleet of support vessels.

Biden goes to Israel, but his meeting was cancelled, supposedly after a hospital bombing and the swarming of the Embassy. He went unannounced to Ukraine, so why did they announce him going to Israel? They announce it and bombs drop.

So....151 from the terrorist watch list have been caught coming in through our open border (Iranian). How many more got through undetected? All it takes is for China to see our forces and finances being split between Israel and Ukraine, so a good time for China to go after Taiwan and suddenly we have war on 3 fronts.
