Fire Dan Mullen thread

I’m sticking with Kiffin, if he can keep his shit glued together, he’s the closet thing to a home run. I would have never thought I’d be saying this, after the bs at TN & USC, but now, he seems much more mature, and the sob can coach & recruit like a mutha.

I would prefer a O minded coach, that’s who we’ve had success with, and one that recruit. Another UM, preferably without the murderers, Kiffin is the closest thing, complete with being a P hound.

How in the blue fuck are people still defending this dude? He goes "Ted Lasso" in the post-game presser on Edgar...he says a team that scored 13 on Tennessee-Chattanooga a "good offensive team".

This guy CANNOT be fucking for real. Pumping up their QB. A god damn FCS team scored 52 fucking points on Florida and he's acting like it's worthy of celebration. I'm done with celebrating mediocrity and I'm done with Dan Mullen.

I get not acting rashly, but we’re becoming the laughingstock of college football, it’s killing recruiting, and we already sucked enough. This implosion is not a one off, it’s been happening. Mullen royally f’d up last year retaining dipshit TG, not sure etc he was thinking, or why he didn’t see the players were getting terrible coaching. To me, this is equal or not worse than the loss to GaSouthern, and Mus got whacked for that. The dumb shit he’s said are as bad as what Mac did, so why is this fool still employed? Maybe Stricklin is working on a replacement before axing Mullen?

Problem is if he’s retained, & Mullen won’t change, we just shit the bed for another year in recruiting & on the field. If Stricklin can get a home run hire, then whack him, but don’t replace with another iffy hire. If that hire isn’t available, then force Mullen to make the changes with stud coaches that can recruit like a mutha, will take big $, and also write a fat check for recruiting resources. Don’t want another shit year, going the wrong direction, but don’t want to be Tennessee either

Burns thinks he's hot shit, not enough mustard at walmart to cover that little smart ass.

There is no such thing as a homerun hire. Mushcamp was a homerun. Mullen was a homerun.

Meh, Meyer was a home run, there’s others. Muschamp
Had never been a HBC before, I never thought Mullen was a home run, thought he had potential.

Would James Franklin fit the bill? Recruits well, has SEC experience? I could get behind Kiffin, young, master of social media, good recruiter. Aranda would also work. Not sure Mullin can get this team up enough to win either of the last 2 games.

I think Franklin is over-rated. Kiffin probably going to LSU, or so I read, they’re pretty chock full of talent. F a D corch.

he was rightfully dragged. I'm so tired of pundits telling us we should just deal with mediocre coaches and teams

He’d be right if Mullen had hired a great DC and recruiters a couple of years ago. This situation has been brewing since year 1. I don’t think anyone envisioned how suddenly we would collapse, but the signs were there.

Who’s Mullen going to hire that can turn things around now that we’ve got two feet in the shitter?

I think any disciplined DC can have success here as long as their playbook is more than one page that reads "Blitz on 3rd down"

Yeah, DC at UF should be easy with the talent pool in the state. DT is the only thing that is hard to come by home grown on that side of the ball.

No way Mullen survives a loss @ MO, he’s completely lost this team. I hope someone beats his ass
