Back in August of this year my wife went on a week's bike trip to Maine. There were about 20 riders from all of the country, the company they were with provides hotels, meals, transportation of equipment , etc. Her regular biking buddy could not make the trip due to her daughter's illness so Ms. Breeze asked to be paired up with another lady biker to split room cost. Mistake. Two days into the trip the roomie says "oh by the way, my husband had the sniffles before I left but he got a rapid test and it's positive." My wife already had the sniffles by this time and tested positive for it after she got home. Fortunately, we both had the Morderna series, I never tested positive but had to quarantine with her. She did have symptoms: fatigue, muscle aches, headaches, slight fever, loss of smell. I'm glad she was vaxed since her symptoms were strong enough to be worrisome. If she had not been waxed she would have been in the hospital. She said she wished she had asked the roomie her wax status up front, an error she won't make again. The roomie managed to infect 4 other riders and showed very little remorse. Ms Breeze still has some lingering fatigue but everything else is back to normal.
